Copies of Copies

BlobsNT_05 is the first painting I made of its kind. I had this copy of copies of copies of blobs idea before, but here it is complicated by the material, the difficult shapes, and the many stacked colors. The system I used was to lay a stroke down then copy it and then copy the copy and so forth, snaking around the canvas until I ran out of room. As I added each color, the new blobs' position and shape were forced to be relative to the previous marks.
